01

Connect for the first time

Open the server in your dashboard and copy its public game address and port. In Rust, press F1 and use client.connect followed by that address. If deployment is still pending, wait for the server state to become available before retrying.

02

Change map settings safely

Update the hostname, player limit, world size, or seed from the server configuration area. Startup settings do not change the running process immediately; save them, schedule downtime, and restart when your community is ready.

03

Review plugin source first

Only install C# plugin source from a maintainer you trust. Stravos requests a provider backup before a plugin upload; verify that backup reaches a completed state before treating it as a recovery point. Compatibility and plugin behavior remain the server owner’s responsibility.

04

Ask for account-specific help

Signed-in customers can open a private support ticket. Include the server name, approximate time, and the action that failed. Do not include passwords, recovery codes, or provider credentials.
